PP calls for PP health care for every community
If you think Planned Parenthood doesn’t have a huge amount to gain from the proposed health care reform, take a look at its web site.
There you will find pictures of abortion supporters holding pink signs and wearing pink T- shirts,
emblazoned with “Planned Parenthood Health Care for Every Community.”
The web site features the call to action on the home page: “Pass Health Care Reform – Stop Stupak.”
The abortion giant is issuing a call to its supporters to descend on Washington, D.C.,
December 2 to lobby senators to insure child-killing by abortion is a covered benefit in health care reform.
The
New York Times quotes PP’s president: “We have seen money coming in at every level,” said Cecile Richards of Planned Parenthood, which is also patching calls into lawmakers’ offices in several states. “Congressman Stupak managed to crystallize this movement in a way that is hard to replicate.”
As the debate moves now to the Senate, Senator Harry Reid’s bill authorizes abortion supporter Kathleen Sebelius, secretary of Health and Human Service, to authorize the federal funding of elective abortions, and provides
subsidies for those who obtain private insurance that covers abortion.
