About 15+ years ago I listened to a radio play on audio tape (obtained from the library) of The Screwtape Letters. Both characters, Screwtape and Wormwood, were narrated/read by none other than John Cleese of Monty Python fame. He did a pretty good job, I must say.
This looks like a more elaborate production and seems to be very good. Thanks for posting about it.

I remember hearing a bit about the Cleese version but never heard it. Found it on the internet at http://www.radiomickdanger.com/ListShows.php?seriesname=The%20Screwtape%20Letters & look forward to listening to it. Sure Cleese did a great job.

Holy Smokes, Al! Thanks for finding it. I am going to listen to it again.
Do you, like, know everything? :]
The web site says it was made in "1999". But I distinctly remember listening to it sometime between 1993-1995.

Not everything. But w/ the help of Google it sure seems like it at times.
Like you I thought it came out earlier. It could have been recorded for radio or something else & then put on CD thus the 99 date for release.
