Why Planned Parenthood Doesn't Want the Truth About How the Operate to Get Out

It costs them money. & not just from a decrease in business. As the truth has gotten out, funding has dried up, or made more difficult to tap into. & despite all their claims to the contrary, it is the bottom line, not women that PP really cares about. So we must continue to bring the truth out about PP & how it really operates. PP doesn't want any light to shine on them. They prefer to continue to operate in the darkness so they can hide the evil they do for money. We must let the light of God's truth shine instead. For it is that light that reveal "all that is hidden" as Jesus promised.

Indianapolis, IN (LifeNews.com) -- Planned Parenthood of Indiana plans to cut 25 jobs at its abortion centers across the state. Although the abortion business claims the cuts are related to financial reasons resulting from a cut in government funds, an expose' showing two of its centers covering up potential cases of sexual abuse likely played a role.
The abortion business announced that the job cuts will come as Planned Parenthood of Indiana engages in a restructuring prompted by a reshuffling of federal funds.
The cuts come after an announcement last month that five of its centers would close.President and CEO Betty Cockrum indicated today that a sixth center, based in Marion, will also close.
Cockrum claims the four Indianapolis-area centers and the two from other parts of the state slated to close are doing so because they relied on they relied on federal Title XX family-planning funds to operate and pay for some clients.
Despite the cuts, the abortion business is still the number one recipient of the federal funds.
According to the Indianapolis Star, the job cuts include 17 full-time and 8 part-time staffers and they include service providers, finance specialists, administrators and managers. The cuts leave Planned Parenthood of Indiana with 28 centers and 175 employees
"In every tough situation, there is an opportunity," Cockrum told the newspaper. "We have evaluated our operations up, down and sideways to ensure we strengthen our sustainability."
She indicated closing the centers in Indianapolis, Marion, Anderson, Kokomo, Franklin and Shelbyville will save PPIN as much as $1.35 million, which is significant given the $15 million annual budget it has.
The centers are closing despite the record amount of money the abortion business received from the federal government in the last fiscal year. The total government grants and contracts received by PPFA affiliates from government sources including state, local and federal governments, increased from $337 million to $350 million.
Looking at Planned Parenthood data from 1997 to the present, the increase in government funding corresponds with an increase in the number of abortions. (See image)
In 1997, Planned Parenthood did about 160,000 abortions and received approximately $160 million in total taxpayer funding from various levels of government. Both the number of abortions and the amount of money received from government, supposedly for family planning to reduce abortions, has double since then.
The closings also come after videos showed Planned Parenthood centers in Bloomington and Indianapolis covering up a potential case of sexual abuse and urging a young woman to go out of state for an abortion without her parents knowing. The footage resulted in a staff member resigning from the Indianapolis Planned Parenthood facility and it may led the state attorney general to launch an investigation.
A prior videotape showing the same thing occurring at a Bloomington, Indiana abortion business led to the firing of the staff member involved.
Such a secret abortion would violate Indiana's parental involvement laws.
