Watch How Differently Planned Parenthood Deals With This Death

When Tiller was murdered it didn't take long for almost every leading Pro-Life group to speak out & decry his murder. Planned Parenthood & the rest of the abortion supporters were quick to drag out all the accusations that his murder was the responsibility of the Pro-Life movement for calling him a murder & that we were all a dangerous & violent bunch.
But things sure are different when it is a pro-life protestor that gets murdered. Friday (11 Sept 2009) morning Jim Pouillon was shot and killed while holding a picture of an unborn baby bearing the caption "Life," outside Owosso High School in Michigan. Many Pro-Life leaders have spoken out decrying the murder. & none of them have tried to tie in the killer with the entire abortion industry. (Statements below)
Yet, so far I have yet to see anything from the pro-abortion side decrying this 1. (& that includes PP who's website I checked as I started this post.) IMHO they won't say it publicly, but I suspect more than 1 leading abortion supporter was secretly dancing for joy at his murder, no matter who did it. & any public statement that may eventually come out will probably be to warn that the Pro-life movement will be seeking revenge. (Pro-Abortion Groups Silent in Wake of Pro-Life Activist's Slaying, HOURS AFTER SHOOTING OF ELDERLY PRO-LIFE MAN, KEY ABORTION ADVOCATES SILENT) At least some local abortion supporters have spoken out against the killing. Lori Lamerand, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood East Central Michigan & Jodi Jacobson, a writer at the RH Reality Check pro-abortion blog are the only 2 to decry the murder.
& I highly doubt that you will see Obama send out any federal marshalls to protect those Pro-lifers protesting outside abortion clinics. In fact, as the following link shows, Obama has been completely silent. Nothing has yet to come out of the White House at all. (OBAMA ADMINISTRATION ISSUES NO RESPONSE TO SLAYING OF PRO-LIFE ADVOCATE) Not that this is surprizing. Obama doesn't care at all about the Pro-life people.
& of course the news media coverage hasn't been anywhere near that of Tiller's murder. Again, no surprize.
The murder of Jim Pouillon is a rogue person, just like the man who killed Tiller. Her didn't like what Pouillion was doing & murdered him for his Pro-Life activities. I have no evidence of any conspiricies & refuse to say that it appears to be a random act. & there will be no calls for revenge or retaliation.
Yes, there are concerns for the safety of Pro-Lifers that is raised by this incident. But it sould not stop us from speaking out.
My sympathy to the family of James Pouillon on their loss. He is a true hero who died in the line of service for the unborn.

Here are some of the statements:
Staten Island, NY – Leaders of Priests for Life, the largest network of clergy and lay people dedicated to ending abortion, reacted today to statements by a Sianwassee County, Michigan, prosecutor that James Pouillon was killed by a man who was upset at Mr. Pouillon’s pro-life activism.“James Pouillon today joined the approximately 4,000 other victims who will be killed today because of abortion,” said Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life. “The taking of all innocent lives must stop. I call on the leaders of the so called ‘pro-choice’ movement to condemn this killing and to consider all of the people who lose their lives to abortion every single day.”“Mr. Pouillon was known as the ‘sign guy’ because he had the courage to show people what abortion really is,” said Janet Morana, Priest for Life’s Executive Director. “This brutal murder will not deter pro-lifers from continuing to expose the horror of what abortion does, not just to the baby who loses his life, but also to the mother who lives with the truth of abortion the rest of her life.”“In the Fifties and Sixties, people lost their lives to secure the civil rights of those victimized by discrimination,” added Dr. Alveda King, Pastoral Associate of Priests for Life and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Now, James Pouillon has lost his life in the civil rights cause of the 21st Century, the struggle to protect the right to life of every single person, born and unborn. Mr. Pouillon has not died in vain; the struggle will only be renewed because of his courage and sacrifice.”

There was a killing on the morning of September 11, 2009 of a prolife activist who was protesting abortion in front of a high school in Owosso, Michigan.

Priests for Life Press Release:
James Pouillon Is Another Victim of Abortion Say Priests for Life Leaders Pavone, Morana, and King
First statement from Fr. Frank Pavone
"....But this is a time to console one another, and to renew our determination to organize peaceful protests. It is no time for fear. And I am waiting to hear the abortion advocates condemn this killing."
First statement from Dr. Alveda King, Priests for Life Director of African American Outreach
“First and foremost, violence is reprehensible. A sure way to stop the murdering spirit that is ravaging America is to stop murdering babies in the womb. We grieve with the family over the loss of yet another prolife valiant warrior.”
A New York Times Article Stated:
Officials are investigating whether Mr. Pouillon, who had been involved in anti-abortion efforts for decades, was singled out because of those views. Local newspapers reported that he had been carrying photographs of fetuses outside the school shortly before the shooting.
Prosecutors said the suspect, who is 33, targeted Mr. Pouillon because he disapproved of the victim’s protests in front of children at the school.
“There was some displeasure with how open he was,” said Sara Edwards, the chief assistant prosecutor for Shiawassee County. “He tended to carry big signs with very graphic pictures of fetuses.”
Ms. Edwards said the suspect would likely be charged later Friday.

On a day when most Americans are focused on remembering the tragedy of Sept. 11, 2001, the Pro-Life Action League was shocked at the news that pro-life activist Jim Pouillon had been shot and killed. Jim stood as a witness to the violence that abortion does to its unborn victims. Now he himself is a victim of violence.
Jim was witnessing for life, holding a picture of an unborn baby with the caption "LIFE" outside Owosso High School at 7:20 a.m. when he was shot and killed at.
Jim was a stalwart activist for years and was known to those at the League's office as "Jim from Michigan." He regularly joined "Face the Truth" tours and was considered a friend of pro-life leaders nationwide.
"We call upon the abortion advocates to condemn this violence. And we urge pro-lifers not to be intimidated into abandoning their commitment to end abortion in America," said League national director Joe Scheidler.
"When late term abortionist George Tiller was murdered, the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division and the U.S. Attorney's Office launched a investigation into federal crimes in connection with the murder, and the Civil Rights Division convened a meeting of the National Task Force on Violence Against Reproductive Health Care Providers," commented Scheidler. "Now the Pro-Life Action League is calling on those government agencies to investigate this murder and established a task force to protect pro-life advocates."
Pouillon's murder is deeply disturbing for many in the pro-life movement, especially activists on the front lines, publicly fighting against abortion. For some it raises the question: "Should we back down from public protest of abortion?"
"I know that Jim would say no," said League executive director Eric Scheidler. "He had faced verbal attacks and even assault over the years. One time a driver tried to run him down. But Jim stood his ground. And now, he is with the Lord."
Scheidler encourages all pro-life activists to continue their peaceful witness for life in honor of Jim's faithful memory.
Statement by Live Action President Lila Rose on Killing of Pro-Life Advocate
We are greatly saddened and disturbed by the murder of pro-life activist, Jim Pouillon.
We condemn the violent act which robbed Jim of his life, and we stand with him in his protest against our nation's violence to the unborn. Now is the time for the pro-life community to stand with even more courage and unity against abortion. We will work tirelessly until our nation recognizes the right to life of every human being, even the smallest and weakest.
We will keep all those involved in our prayers.

Prosecutors say Drake also intended to kill a third man, a realtor, and that he had grudges against all three men. According to authorities, Pouillon was targeted for his pro-life views.
Drake has been charged with two counts of first degree premeditated murder. He has also been charges with one count of felony firearm and carrying a firearm with unlawful intent. He is being held without bail at the Shiawassee county jail. [Watch for further updates.]

I know we are going crazy protesting against Abortions; however, have we lost the reason why abortions are being considered???? It’s called “Relations” and most of these are out of marriage…this is what we need to be discussing in order to stop putting the band aid on abortions…then we will see less of them taking place…Please, let’s talk more about Abstinence…
