NIGERIA SEES PLANNED PARENTHOOD AND UNITED NATIONS UNITE TO PROMOTE ABORTIONS

Cardinal Francis Arinze, a former archbishop from Nigeria and presently 'Prefect Emeritus of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments,' made headlines a few years ago, when he suggested that pro-choice politicians should not receive communion at Mass. His emphasis on pro-life causes would be significant reason why Nigeria does not permit liberalized abortion laws.
Nevertheless, the Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN), does not hide its political agenda to promote abortions-on-demand in the nation, while working closely with the United Nations. The PPFN shows a link to the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) web site on the right-side.
The IPPF issues a statement on its 'What We Believe' link, that states: "We encourage, women in particular, to take control of their reproductive lives." Although the term 'abortion' is not mentioned, the IPPF isn't covering up its political message. The web site notes that IPPF facilities in Africa provide "abortion-related services" and formally issues this argument, "our advances in sexual and reproductive health and rights have always faced challenges from conservative political and religious forces, and this is no different today."
The Nigeria chapter of Planned Parenthood does not publicly admit to performing abortions, but makes a curious statement about the medical services that the PPFN offers, which include: "Pre & Post Abortion Counseling and Care."
It should come as no surprise that the UN is closely allied with the PPFN, but the connection seems a bit odd, since the UN employee who networks with the PPFN is a woman, who professes to be a devout Bible-carrying Christian, according to some of her co-workers.
Confidential sources, with inside knowledge of the UN, have come forward to the Dallas Blog to express their surprise that Ruth Agwai, an unlicensed nurse working inside the UN headquarters building, has been linked to the Planned Parenthood organization, since she frequently carries a Bible to work.
Yet, the Dallas Blog has obtained internal UN memos, official paperwork and budget reports, which reveal that Mrs. Agwai attended political and medical summits in Lagos, Nigeria that were partly funded by Planned Parenthood in conjunction with the Nigerian government.
Ironically, a simple public records check reveals that she is currently living in a multi-million dollar town home on 34th Street in Manhattan, New York.
