Mercy Otis Warren may not be familiar to many people. But she did play an important role in the American Revolution. She was married to James Warren. She worked with him to further the cause of the American colonies, before & during the War for Independence. She personally knew most of the leaders of the Revolution including John & Abigail Adams. Several of the Revolutionary leaders regularly sought her advice.
