1 More Step Down the Highway to Hell

Yesterday, Obama did exactly what was expected, he lifted the few limits there were on embryonic stem cell (ESC) research . & lied in so many ways while doing it. I have talked so many times before about the false hope using ESCs offers so I won't go into that here. But, if what I read is right, there is 1 line in the order that ends anyof the little funding currently going to the research using adult & umbilical stem cells, the areas that have already provided over 70 treatments, with many more in the pipeline. He talks about offering hope, he is just offering death.

What is the icing is how he is claiming this doesn't open the door to human cloning. I should say, I get what he is saying. It is a lie to cover up the truth.

A couple of years ago the Iowa Legislature supposedly banned cloning. But the law allowed "somatic cell nuclear transfer" (SCNT). When confronted by me, the Iowa Speaker of the House Pat Murphy said that it wasn't cloning because he was told so by the people down at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

We won't get into the fact of the conflict of interest from the reseacrchers down there, just that I think they provided him with the plausable lie. Why? Because everyone who read the news stories behind the story knew that SCNT was the process used to clone Dolly the sheep.

Since ESC research involves SCNT, there will be human cloning. He is relying on the fact that people will not go beyond the idea that the so-called ban only involves not allowing the embryo to develop into an adult human being.

He is openning the doors for scientists to go far beyond anything that is moral or ethical. He is fast making Hilter's scientists look like a bunch of slackers. These scientists are trying to play god by creating chimeras & cloned human beings. & we know that God will only allow that to go so far before He steps in & we have to pay the price.

Now more that ever, we MUST repent & pray for our country. Wa are at the point where we are already seeing the start of that chastisement we so richly deserve. But, it is only the start. We can still turn away from the road we are on. & if we do we can avoid the worst that lies ahead. It isn't too late, but it may soon be.
