Let Obama Know That We Won't Be Silent About His Support of the "Culture of Death"

STOp Planned Parenthood has issued this challenge to the Pro-Life Community.

I have already checked to see if there will be an event in DBQ. There aren't any currently scheduled. There are 2 events that are out of town, but that I will be unable to attend. 1 is in Marion, IA on the 8th (50 miles from DBQ) on health care reform. Anyone in the area is urged to make it & let them know that health care doesn't include murder by abortion.

Then there is 1 in Madison at a location that I find very ironic. It is being held on 10 Jan at the Madison Birth Center. It is titled Focus on Improving Maternity Care in the United States. Remember PP's idea of maternity care is an abortion.

& while STOPP is right to call for civilized discussion, I highly suspect that anyone who tries & speak out on the Pro-Life side won't be treated very civily. & if they aren't, the media will ignore that uncivil treatment. But any slip up by the Pro-Life side that will place us in a bad light will be played up well beyond its real value as a news story.

Give Obama team your input on health care

Two weeks ago we brought you a report on all the things Planned Parenthood is demanding of the Obama administration. On their end, the Obama team is holding small meetings all across the country to get input from ordinary citizens on health care concerns.

As part of the efforts to defeat Planned Parenthood, we are encouraging as many of you as possible to attend one of these meetings in your area and voice your opposition to FOCA, the Prevention First Act and all of the PP agenda.

You can find out about the meetings by going to the following website and type in your zip code and search for local events. These events go by different names - "health care discussion group," health issues round table," etc. - and should be open to the public.

Many of these meetings are being held in private homes. These meetings are NOT the time for demonstrations. They represent an opportunity for local pro-lifers, especially community leaders and medical professionals to have civilized discussions and influence what is fed back to the Obama team.
