What a Way to End the Semester: Another False Arrest!

The final week of the fall semester on the Campus Life Tour started with a bang. On Monday, December 8, we went back to LA City College because earlier in the semester campus security confined us to a small area surrounded by construction and we could only reach a limited number of students.

This time, they said we were trespassing on a public campus because we were not willing to be confined once again to their unreasonable free speech area.

Tara, Kortney, Shara, and I were arrested unlawfully. Students who witnessed the arrests were shocked and horrified that we were being treated in an unconstitutional manner. One student was reduced to tears after witnessing Tara being arrested and stated, "How can they arrest women who are trying to protect and defend other women victimized by abortion?"

The police refused to listen to us as we stated that our rights were being violated. We visited 92 schools this semester and this was the second school that violated our rights by having us arrested. Several other schools threatened us with arrest or other forms of intimidation which is an ongoing issue on tour.

We will continue to visit schools and show the truth about abortion because lives hang in the balance. We face opposition and yet we will press on. Hopefully, these schools will get a clue and allow us to do what we are there to do - educate, motivate, activate - not have our constitutionally guaranteed rights stomped on.

Public & private colleges like to say that they exist for the free exchange of ideas. Sadly that is not true. Most of them only allow their PC liberal voice to be heard. (& this includes most so-called Catholic Colleges that not only push a PC agenda, they undermine the very Catholic teaching they exist to promote. [The exception are the few Catholic ones that meet the Cardinal Newman Society standards.])
