Help the Work to Stop Obama's Anti-Life Agenda

I have written several posts on the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) & the dangers that lie withinn it. Naturally the group in the biggest danger is the unborn who would lose even the few legal protections they now have. Others like Pro-Life physicians & pharmicists would also be left without any legal protection.

Ultimately FOCA is a license to kill.

Edmund Burke once said: "The only thing necessary for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing." That fact was never more true than it is now. It would be so easy to step back & say that whatever we do won't have an effect. & if we stay silent that fact would be proven true.

But, if we stand up we WILL have an effect. At the least we will be putting a roadblock up in front of the "culture of death". At best, we will be changing hearts & minds so that some day our country will turn away from the "culture of death". & in between, who knows how many unborn lives we will save that would have died had we remained silent.

Here are specific ways in which you can make your voice heard from American Life League's Stop Planned Parenthood:

1. Sign American Life League’s petition to stop Planned Parenthood’s agenda at www.stopp.org/agenda.

2. Call your elected officials in Washington, D.C. and tell them what you think of PP's agenda. If you do not know your representative or senator’s name or need their phone number, call the Capitol Hill switchboard at 202-224-3121.

3. Visit the local offices of your members of Congress and tell them personally that you do not want them to support any part of PP's agenda.

4. Write letters to the editor of your local newspapers and call in to local, regional and national talk shows to discuss this outrage.

5. Schedule a speaker at your church, civic group or school to inform your community of the threat that PP poses to your community. You can schedule a speaker from American Life League by calling 540-659-4171 and asking for Mike Sedlak.

6. Pray that God will bless the effort to defeat PP.

In addition there are many other things you can do.

1: Support your local Pro-Life groups.

2. Support your local crisis pregnancy center (Birthright, Care-Net, etc.)

3. Start a Pro-Life Blog, or spread the word arround about those that do exist to help them get the word out.

4. Support other Pro-life organizations.

5. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!!!!! (OK I know this is a repeat. But it can't be said enough.)

If we remain silent, then evil will definitely win. If we speak up, its victory last month will be short lived.
