Real Men Oppose Abortion

Where Have All the Real Men Gone?
By Bud Shaver, Assistant Tour Director

This week on college campuses I was amazed at how many women discredited my message simply for the fact that I am a man. I insisted that arguments have no gender and told them of the fallacy of the ad hominum (personal attacks) argument.
Abortion, simply a "woman's issue?" I stressed the fact that abortion was deeply rooted in male dominance and that men have the most to gain and are the least affected by abortion. I pointed out that so many men are pro-abortion for that very reason.
The majority of abortionists are men. Roe vs. Wade was decided by nine men. Men escape responsibility through abortion. Many women state that they were pressured by their boyfriends or husbands to abort their baby.
If more men had the courage to stand up and speak out against the atrocity of abortion, I wonder how many babies would be spared a violent death.
Real men love, protect and support their children.
America, where have all the real men gone?
