Prayer Alert-Another State Posed to Sell Its Soul to Satan By Allowing Emryonic Stem Cell Research

This time it is Michigan.

There is a Constitutional amendment proposal on the ballot that would allow unrestricted embryonic stem cell research. No surprize, it isn't being marketted as such, any more than the law last year in Iowa was or the referendum a couple years ago in Missouri was. But, like the 2 I just mentioned it does just that.

According to an article on the Michigan Citizens Against Unrestricted Science & Experimentation website:"The proposal’s language allows for any research on live human embryos which is permitted under federal law." Sounds innocent doesn't it? Until you know the rest of the facts: "Federal law currently has no restrictions on research on human embryos. Therefore, research on human embryos in Michigan would have no restrictions." The only Federal restriction is on financing this type of research.

Every time that something like this has passed, those pushing the law have lied about what it really does. Last year Pat Murphy (D-DBQ), Speaker of the Iowa House lied to my face by saying that Somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) was not cloning, even though everyone who heard of Dolly the Sheep, & I know that includes him, knows it is. He claims that he is basing his statement on what he was told by a group from the UofI Hospitals. This is a group who has a vested interest in SCNT/cloning & belongs to a national orginization supporting cloning. (Talk about conflict of interest!!!!!) & even if by chance he hadn't heard of Dolly, his wife is a nurse & she should know better. (I won't go into the whole Finley getting revenge for his wife against its candal he got himself into this year other than to say that conflict of interest seems to run in his blood.)

My question is "Why do they have to mislead people?" The answer is simple, if people knew the truth they wouldn't get the laws passed.

So, please pray for Michigan. Pray that the truth gets out & that this amendment is rejected by the voters.
