Somehow or other I've convinced Vir Speluncae Catholicus at The Lair of the Catholic Cavemen that I know what I am doing. Thus he has bestowed on me the Excellent Award (shown above). I would be less than honest if I didn't say that I am humbled & amazed that he thinks I am doing that good of a job.
So it is with deep gratitude that I humbly accept this award.
A requirement of accepting the award is to select 10 other blogs that I feel deserve this award. Naturally, you can't include the person who bestowed the award on you because he or she has already won the award. However, there is no rule about a duplication or 2 in your list & that of the person who honored you.
So, sparing no expense I have flown in from Aurora, IL Wayne Campbell (Garth Algar was unavailable to assist) to announce my 10 Blogs Worthy of Being rated E for Excellent. Take it away Wayne:
Dad29 by Dad29
Orthometer by Fr. Erik Richtsteig
The Cafeteria is Closed by Gerald Augustinus
Christus Vincit by Brian Michael Page (mostly) & Jason Pennington (occasionally)
The Curt Jester by Jeff Miller
Thoughts of a Regular Guy by Paul, just this guy, you know?
The Shrine of the Holy Whapping by The University of Notre Dame 4 aka Dan, Matt, Emily & Drew plus Whapster Emeritus Becket
What Does the Prayer Really Say? by Fr. Z (Fr. John Zuhlsdorf)
New Liturgical Movement by Shawn Tribe
American Papist by Thomas Peters
Honorable Mention:
The Roman Sacristan by The Roman Sacristan
CVSTOS FIDEI by Tito, handmaiden & Fidei Defensor
The Crescat by Carolina Cannonball
FaithMouse by Dan Lacey
Hopefully the awards party will be held at Casandra's loft with Aerosmith & Alice Cooper playing backup for Casandra's band. (That is, if Wayne can arrange it.) No word yet on if it will be telecast live on Wayne's World either.
