Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!*

* But not if you are in the Wisconsin or Minnestota Capitol bldgs.

With the big to-do in Wisc, I am proud to say that Iowa doesn't have 1 Christmas tree in the Capitol Complex, it has 4. They are located as follows:

Henry A. Wallace Building

State Capitol Rotunda

Governor’s Office (In the Capitol Building)

Lieutenant Governor’s Office (ditto)

& the Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, Bill Northey, has gone 1 step further & is promoting Iowa's Christmas Tree Growers Association.

Iowa better get it right, after all, our State Song is sung to the tune of Tannenbaum (Oh Christmas Tree). If they didn't then our maids laughing eyes might no longer be laughing & we would no longer be mistaken for Heaven.
