Cecile Richards: Lies, Lies & More Lies

Something tells me Cecille Richards wouldn't know the truth if it came up & punched her in the nose. On the other hand maybe she should be glad her name isn't Pinocchio.

Planned Parenthood CEO: “We work just like a hospital” (While they oppose being regulated like one)

Cecile Richards, the president of Planned Parenthood, is desperate. Speaking on C-SPAN’s Newsmakers, she claimed that US House leaders attempts to cut federal funding for Planned Parenthood have nothing to do with the budget or the deficit, but have to do with “a political vendetta against women’s health care.”

While attempting to defend the $300 million that the nation’s largest abortion provider receives from the government, Richards admitted that at Planned Parenthood: “We work just like a hospital.” Really? That’s interesting. Because Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell signed a bill this week that requires surgical abortion clinics to be regulated as hospitals or outpatient surgical centers. And Planned Parenthood complained bitterly. But I digress.

Asked about abortion, Richards repeated her usual line that 97% of Planned Parenthood’s provided services are for preventive care and 3% are for abortions. Is that misleading? Well, the fact is 11% of Planned Parenthood’s patients get abortions. Another way to look at the statstics

Richards is totally incapable of engaging in a principled debate. She can’t justify abortion, so instead she uses deceptive words to mislead the public and personal attacks to vilify pro-life advocates. Her job, though, includes representing an organization that kills innocent human life. She has left herself no choice but to resort to such tactics.

Then there is Sen. Barbara Boxer's willingness to aid & abet Planned Parenthood's lying about what they really do. (CA Sen. Barbara Boxer Repeats Planned Parenthood Mammogram Falsehood) But then that should surprize no one who is aware of who the big bucks donors to her campaign are. Sen. Boxer’s top all-time campaign contributor is the pro-abortion group EMILY’s List. Additionally, Planned Parenthood regularly donates to & supports her reelection campaigns. Don't forget that last year Boxer was Planned Parenthood’s “million dollar baby.” Planned Parenethood vowed to help raise $1 Million to get her reelected. of course Planned Parenthood knew what it was buying when it got her.

The sad part is that rather than helping women, Planned Parenthood only cares about its bottom line as well as killing as many unborn babies, preferably minorities, that it can. It is definitely time to defund Planned Parenthood as well as take away its not for profit status as well.
