Oprah Meets Some Real Catholic Sisters

Technically, these Dominicans are Sisters. Nuns are those who live in a monastery, like Mother Angelica. Here then is the Oprah with the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. Over all, I would say the Oprah show did a fairly good job of presenting things accurately. But it was clear that Oprah really didn't get it. Nor am I surprized with how she tried to sensationalize it by focusing on the sex (or lack thereof). The sisters did a good job of answering the questions in a way that countered the purient questions. & I loved the emphasis on the habit being the wedding dress that shows they are brides of Christ.

These dear sisters did an excellent job of witnessing their love of Christ. It is clear to see why they are attracting vocations. I am sure that the result of this appearance will be more vocations for them as well as other religious orders of sisters & nuns that are also faithful daughters of the Catholic Church & brides of Christ.
