St Joseph & the Battle to End Abortion

As I have said before, I firmly believe that St. Joseph needs to be invoked in the battle against abortion. I say this based on the fact that from before Jesus birth he was called by God to protect Jesus as well as to be a witness of what it truly means to be a father.
We saw this in how Joseph cared for Mary & Jesus. We saw this in Joseph's willingness to leave at a moment's notice when warned by God of the danger to the infant Jesus. We see this in how Joseph sought God's guidance even in where to live. Clearly he was a model father since Jesus is called the Carpenter's son the 1 time when he returned to Nazareth.
For me, a part of calling on St. Joseph in the battle to end life is saying a prayer daily to ask him to bring about the closing of the local Planned Parenthood office in DBQ. (I refuse to call it a clinic since they help to bring life & PP is not about life, but bringing spiritual as well as physical death to those who enter its doors.)
I pray a particular novena prayer that I received a few years ago from the Josephites. This prayer goes as follows:
Glorious St. Joseph, faithful follower of Jesus Christ, to you do we come to ask your powerful intercession in obtaining from the merciful Heart of Jesus all the helps and graces that we need for our spiritual and temporal welfare, and in particular the grace of a happy death and the special favor we now implore (Mention it).
Guardian of the Word Incarnate, we know with confidence that your prayers on our behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God and that God will grant us whatever is for His greater glory and for our greatest good.
V. Glorious St. Joseph through your love of Jesus Christ and for the glory of His name,
R. Hear our prayers and ask God to grant our petitions.
Let us Pray:
Glorious St. Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Virgin, obtain for us pure, humble, and charitable hearts and perfect conformity to the will of God. Be our guide, father and model through life so that we may merit to die as you did in the arms of Jesus and Mary.
Dear St. Joseph, foster father of our Lord Jesus Christ, true spouse of the Virgin Mother of God, pray for us.
While this prayer is what I felt lead by God to use, there are many other formal prayers available that are appropriate. Or you can merely ask St. Joseph to intercede. However, I have found that a specific prayer daily enables me to follow a disciplined routine that keeps me from slacking off.
St. Joseph isn't the only saint I ask to intercede in the battle against abortion, right after Mary under the title of Our Lady of Guadalupe, I feel he is appointed by God to play a major role in ending the scourge of abortion in the USA & building the Culture of Life desired by God. & that comes from the role he was called to play here on Earth as Spouse to Mary & earthly father (in all ways but biological) to Jesus.
