We provide basic, preventative health care, including cervical and breast cancer screening, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, basic wellness exams and birth control counseling and services, to more than 70,000 Wisconsinites each year.
“An anti abortion organization that secretly videotapes inside health centers has made false and inflammatory claims about our services. The fact is, Planned Parenthood’s standard is to provide honest, medically accurate information. That is what the physician in this case did, in addition to accurately answering safety questions from a patient that had indicated she wanted to terminate her pregnancy.
“We cannot verify the accuracy of these edited tapes, however we can reassure the public hat Planned Parenthood always provides legal and accurate information to patients from ur medical personnel. All patients receive the legally mandated information about fetal evelopment as well as medically accurate answers to questions.
“Our priority is always high quality patient care, and for that reason we have reviewed and einforced organizational protocol regarding answers to pregnancy-related questions with staff members at this facility.”

Doctors Reject Planned Parenthood's Medical Lies, Call for Accountability

Embryologists call Planned Parenthood counseling information “absurd and scientifically erroneous”

APPLETON, December 11--Two leading Ph.D.s in medical science have stepped forward to correct the "absurd and scientifically erroneous" information presented during two counseling sessions at a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Appleton, WI. The right-to-life advocacy group Live Action released undercover footage Wednesday showing clinic staff, including the abortion doctor, lying to two young women about fetal development and encouraging the one who is reportedly pregnant to obtain an abortion because "women die having babies."

The video shows the counselor claiming that the fetus's heart does not start beating until "about seventeen or eighteen weeks." Emphasizing that the 10 week old fetus has "heart tones," she states that the "heart beat is when the fetus is active in the uterus--can survive--which is about seventeen or eighteen weeks."

Embryologists Dianne Irving, Ph.D, a former bench research biochemist with the National Institutes of Health and a Professor of Medical Ethics at Georgetown University, and Ward Kischer, Ph.D., Professor emeritus of Cell Biology and Anatomy specializing in embryology at the University Arizona, cite what they call "the number-one human embryology textbook," Human Embryology & Teratology published by Wiley-Liss: "The heart begins to beat by 4 weeks."

When asked at what point the fetus becomes a baby, the counselor answers, "At birth." Later, when asked the same question, the abortionist, Dr. Prohaska claims that the fetus becomes a baby at "6 or 7 months."

Wisconsin informed consent law requires that women receive medically accurate information before undergoing an abortion. According to the American Medical Association's Code of Ethics, "the physician’s obligation is to present the medical facts accurately to the patient." Drs. Irving and Kischer conclude that the Appleton Planned Parenthood counseling practices "would violate legally valid 'informed consent' on both the 'information' level and on the 'consent without duress or pressure' level," and call for the parties involved to "be held accountable for their inherently unethical and destructive lies and procedures."

Lila Rose, 21-year-old president of Live Action, says the new video underscores the contradictions between Planned Parenthood and the mainstream medical and scientific communities: "Everyday Planned Parenthood violates the most basic medical, ethical, and legal codes in order to sell more abortions to vulnerable women. Planned Parenthood confuses medical terms and lies outright about medical facts to hide the humanity of the woman's unborn child and make 'the pregnancy' more 'abortable.'"

I don't know about you, but even without the solid evidence presented by these 2 doctors I would doubt PP based solely on their past track record.
