On The Road to Socialism

A few minutes ago the House barely passed its version of socialistic health care by a vote of 220-215. The only good thing is that the Stupak amendment was passed 240-194. In fact, that is probably the only reason the final bill passed.

There is no guarentee that the Senate will keep that protection in the bill, or that the final bill that will come out of the joint committee will keep the Stupak amendment either.

Then there is the guarentee that this will only speed up the bankrupting of our nation. Pelosi made a statement saying that there would be caps on what people pay for coverage but no caps on what will be payed for. That is a fantasy &/or an outright lie. Premiums are what pay for the coverage. & when thepremiums fall short of what is needed to pay for the claims, then the expenses will have to be payed for by the Federal government. Then they will either have to raise taxes or put a cap on coverage. Or both. Any way you look at it, this is not health care reform, this is apowerbid by the Democrats that can only end in the destruction of a once great country should it become law.
