I kid you not. On the front page of the Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic (PPHP) (New York) website they have a link that is titled: Back To School With PPHP Gift Certificates. & below that it says: "Say 'Don't forget to make that appointment!' with PPHP gift certificates for your students. Good for the HPV vaccine, which guards against cervical cancer, and for other PPHP products and services. $25 each." When you follow the link to the page where you can buy the certificates for use exclusively at any of the PPHP clinics, it opens with: "A Nice Way to Say 'Make An Appointment'." & you see their little chalkboard to the left.
Then there is this special incentive PPHP is offering. You can get a a free packEmergency Contraception (EC) with any paid visit to a Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic Health Center, while supplies last. (FREE Emergency Contraception ) As it says: "Just in case". The page plays up the importance of having this as a backup in case something goes wrong with whatever method you may be using. Besides implying that the other methods they promote aren't all that reliable even when used properly but rarely is, they get to the reality of what this is mainly aimed at, those who have unprotected sex. In other words, teens & young adults who hook up. They are encouraging premarital sex whenever you want. & don't worry about being responsible should you decide to commit sin, we've got your back so you can kill that life should you get pregnant. & should this fail, we know you will come back to us for an abortion. Something they fail to mention EC can cause.
Speaking of which, 1 of the services offered by all but the Patchogue site that you can use the gift certificate for is abortion. & I am sure that the Patchogue site will refer you to another of their clinics where you can use the gift certificate to have an abortion.
1 of the things that bugs me most about the gift certificates promo is who it is aimed at, mainly parents & grandparents. I know PPHP would say that they are only trying to encourage the parents to help their students stay healthy. The sick reality is different. They are encouraging the parents to encourage their children to have premarital sex. & while it would seem that the main aim is for those who have children going off to college, it could be for HS students as well. For the college age men & women, it is asking parents to encourage a sybaritic lifestyle rather than their being serious students. & for those with teens in middle schools, junior & senior high schools, it is telling them to abdicate their parental responsibilities almost completely, if not completely. This is what PP means by being pro-family. As I said, sick. What PP defines as being pro-family is clearly anything but.
What next?, promoting giving them as birthday gifts? With a spiel something like this: "Is your girlfriend pregnant? Do you want her to have an abortion? Is her birthday coming up? What better way to say 'I love you!' than a gift certificate so she can have that abortion."
OK, maybe they won't be that blunt, but I am sure that is next. & I guarentee you that once again you will see many PP clinics offering gift certificates for Christmas.
Once again, we have more evidence that PP is not the benign organization they try to present themselves as. They are out to undermine morality, undermine families & make money off of murdering unborn babies while causing emotional, psychological & spiritual damage to all those involved.

This is also another reason why we need to be concerned with what ends up in the final health care bill. As things stand now, PP could get a big handout to set up health care clinics at schools. & we see what PP's operating philosophy is by things like this.
