Susan B. Anothony List Announces Lia's Challenge Winners

NOTE: I have viewed all of these videos & I am just blown away with the content as well as the quality of them. At times they left me in tears. I applaud their efforts. & their bravery for being willing to speak out as they do. I know they will come under attack for speaking the truth. & I am sure they know it as well. But that didn't stop them. These youth give me great hope for the future.

This past Spring, the Susan B. Anthony List launched Lia's Challenge, our 1st Youth Pro-Life Video Contest.
We are pleased to announce that 50 pro-life youth participated, and we have announced our winners!
Congratulations to Anthony Matzke, age 12 of Lacombe, Louisiana for submitting the winning video, 'Be a Voice' for the 12 years and younger age category.
And our 13-18 age category winner was Hannah Finch, age 18, of Hopewell Junction, New York for her video, 'Choices.'
Anthony and Hannah will be awarded $1,000 scholarships thanks to the generosity of your donations!

Our two winners received a call from 12 year-old Lia Mills, the contest namesake. Lia gave a speech about abortion for a school contest. Since it was posted on YouTube, it has been viewed over half a million times! And it has saved lives.
That’s because in today’s world, some of the greatest advocates of the pro-life movement are its youth—young voices with fresh and unique perspectives and the power to change hearts and minds.

Lia’s Challenge: Pro-Life Film Contest Winners

When 12 year-old Lia Mills wrote her speech about abortion for a school contest, she had no idea that it would garner over a half a million views! In order to give other young people this same opportunity, Lia partnered with the Susan B. Anthony List to sponsor a pro-life video contest. Youth from across the country sent in their pro-life videos, sharing their unique perspective on Life! The creators of the two winning videos will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
