Update on the Mime @ Mass

My bit on the "Mime proclamation of the Gospel got the biggest amount of response of a post in a long time.
Unfortunately, I had to sit through it as I didn't have any other option today for getting to Mass elsewhere. So here is my impression of the infamia.
It was actually a mime with naration, no not Sunday's Gospel reading, but a rewrite. There was also some music, "Dear Father" from Jonathan Livingston Seagull & the last 2 songs from Godspell. The whole thing had a post-Vatican II, early 70s, the so-called, but not the real "Spirit of Vatican II" make everyone feel good while being entertained aura to it.

I was able to resist the temptation to stand up & scream & tried to read the Gospel from the Missallette instead. My only other question is, how much time did having to endure it shave off of my time in Purgatory? :-)
