More Proof That Pro-Choice Wants "No Choice" But Abortion

This article shows once again how unwilling the so-called "Pro-Choice" group is to allow anyone to offer a real alternative "choice" to abortion. For them, the only choice is abortion. They will use any means including lies, slander & libel to stop a woman from having any real choice. Esp when it takes away their lucrative business of murdering the unborn.
As the article points out, the Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) provided no hard data to back up their lies. As I read the part about how half of the college health centers are refering students seeking reproductive health care to crisis pregnancy centers, I thought "How many of these colleges are Christian or authentically Catholic & would NEVER send a girl to an abortion clinic?"
If they numbers are accurate, then I suspect that they did go to a lot of those places they knew wouldn't chose abortion clinics to intentionally skew the numbers. & they did so with the intent of misrepresenting the facts to uphold their lies.

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A leading pro-abortion group sent out a press release to mainstream media outlets on Monday with an attack on pregnancy centers that could be a harbinger of things to come. The Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) attack could set up actions by incoming president Barack Obama or Congress.
As LifeNews.com
reported during the presidential campaign, millions of Americans who are involved with or aided by the thousands of pregnancy centers across the nation are worried.
They believe Obama will likely revoke the funds the Bush administration has given the centers or could go further by signing a Congressional bill that could shut them down.
The FMF said in its media release that it has released the results of a new "study" that shows half of college health centers refer students seeking reproductive health care to crisis pregnancy centers.
The "study" surveyed 398 campus health centers at four-year colleges that responded to the pro-abortion group and supposedly accounted for 34 percent of the total student population in the country attending four-year schools.
The survey found 48 percent routinely refer women who might be pregnant to crisis pregnancy centers.
FMF claims the centers "pose as comprehensive health clinics" and are "luring women" with free pregnancy tests or information about sexual health or abortion decisions.
"In reality, many of these centers attempt to coerce and intimidate women out of considering abortion as an option, and prevent women from receiving neutral and comprehensive medical advice," FMF claimed, without providing any examples in the release to justify its contentions.
"They are typically run by anti-abortion volunteers who are not licensed medical professionals," the group added.
FMF again provided no data to support the claims -- even though the lion's share of centers have full or part-time doctors or nurses on staff or as consultants.
Beth Jordan, M.D., the medical director for FMF, said, "Any attempt to delay care and try and scare a woman into keeping an unwanted pregnancy only serves to put her at higher risk.
Jordan didn't comment on abortion businesses that attempt to delay pregnancy care or scare women into having unwanted abortions.
Kristin Hansen, a Care Net representative, previously spoke with LifeNews.com about attacks like this one.
“What's clear in these attacks is that the multi-million dollar abortion industry is growing increasingly frustrated with the success of pregnancy centers, which, unlike abortion providers, offer a wide range of free services to men and women facing unplanned pregnancy and sexual health-related concerns," Hansen said.

Be careful how you phrase things. There are ordinary citizens who self-identify as "prochoice" who are big supporters of CPCs, and if you make too sweeping a generalization, you alienate allies.

The pro-abortion people disguised as "prochoice" hold the cards and play the game, and it's our job to unmask them so that the truly prochoice can weed them out. The remaining prochoicers, once they see the resulting plunge in the abortion rate, will be fairly easy to get aboard working to eliminate the practice entirely.

But we need to get them to weed out the rabidly proabortion from their midst first.

Sorry, I have to disagree, if you are pro-choice then you support groups like this. pro-choice is just a euphemism used to disguise the fact that you are pro-abortion.

Thiose that say they are pro-choice & support CPCs better realize that this is what they are really supporting, groups that want to put those CPCs out of business.
