We Have a Papist Winner!!!!!!

Over at American Papist there is an ongoing caption contest. Every few days, Thomas Peters comes up with a picture & calls on his readers to come up with captions. He then comes up with what he considers the winning caption. Amazingly I was the Photo Caption Call - 9/06/08 winner. The photo is that of the altar used at the Eucharistic Clelebration with Papa Benedetto on 7 September 2008 during his visit to Cagliari (Sardinia) to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Shrine of Our Lady of "Bonaria". While there he honored the shrine by presenting it with a Golden Rose, a token of his highest reverence & devotion.

Winning Caption: "The Swiss Guard unveil their new secret weapon, a dog capable of sniffing out heritics." - Al
