SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, SPAM!!!!!

On this date in 1891 Geo. A. Hormel & Co introduced SPAM. The original product name was Hormel Spiced Ham. It was shortened in the 30s to it's now (in)famous moniker. & while it has often been maligned (rightly or wrongly) over the years here is the best salute to SPAM that there is (thanks to Monty Python's Flying Circus):
