Skyfall Tonite

I was planning to go see Skyfall last nite, but because the friend I was going to see it with had a schedule conflict, my seeing it has been delayed until tonite. In has received great reviews. That includes the film critic for the official Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano, who gave it a rave review Skyfall declaring it to be one of the best Bond films in history. Lisa Johnson Mandell, who is the reviewer for Mike Huckabee's radio show also gave it a great review.
The movie will introduce  (finally) a new Q & Miss Moneypenny. I know the new Q looks young, but from what I have seen & heard, it sounds like he will be good. & it makes sense.
Adele does the title song. They return to having the song title be the same as the movie. I like it. As my friend said, & I agree, this is a throwback to the earler Bond movies rather than the more recent.
I will admit I am doing my best to keep from building up my expectations. But from the trailer as well as the other clips, this promises to live up to them. I have heard there will be some homage to past Bond movies as well.
As I said, I will be seeing it tonite. & I will let you know if it is as good as it looks. & what flaws there may be as well.








 

 

 

 

NOTE: It has been announced that Daniel Craig has signed up for 2 more movies. Bond 24 & 25 will be written by John Logan. They are supposed to have a tie-in with each other, like Casino Royale & Quantum of Solace.
