I'm sorry you disagreed with what I said on the CNN show, and I would certainly have changed a few things myself if I had to do it over again, but, in general, I stand by my commentary on the need to expand our pro-life work beyond one issue, as important as abortion is to the Gospel of Life.<br /><br />However, I do take my vows as a Jesuit seriously, and, since you mentioned it, the fourth vow of professed Jesuits, which is made to the Supreme Pontiff is "in regards to mission," which means essentially that St. Ignatius understood the pope to have a more universal sense of where (literally, in the world) to send the members of the Society of Jesus.
